11th – God took Nick back

27th – God first gave him to me

I am committed to always helping others in my son’s memory, in whatever way I can. Every year I pray for God to put an organization in my heart to honor Nick’s life.

This year that organization is the Assyrian Aid Society!

Why did I choose the Assyrian Aid Society?

I’ve been a supporter of AAS for many years. When Nick was 10-16 years old, I was a volunteer of the AAS Arizona chapter and was fully engaged in all fundraising activities, with my family and Nick at my side helping however possible.

The Assyrian Aid Society has been working for over 30 years to assist and uplift our people in north Iraq. Among its many projects and missions, AAS has for decades been committed to providing clean water to remote villages and farms for both drinking as well as sanitation and crop irrigation. That commitment continues today.

Last year we raised funds for a water system in Nick’s memory for a school in Africa because he had completed a mission trip in Africa years earlier. Because the lack of clean water had made such an impact on him, raising funds for another water project in my homeland makes sense.

This water of life will continue to flow directly from my son’s memory through to our people in our homeland.

Please donate below. No amount is too small.

I hope you can join me to make a difference in Nick’s memory. I know his beautiful smile will be shining brightly in heaven.

Thank you and bless you.
