ASSYRIAN AID SOCIETY OF AMERICA YOUR INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN ORGANIZATION The Assyrian Aid Society of America is a charitable 501(c)(3) humanitarian organization dedicated for over a quarter-century to helping Assyrians in need, promoting Assyrian culture and heritage, and focusing American and international attention on the needs and humanitarian concerns of the Assyrian people.

 

Following the First Gulf War, AASA partnered with the U.S. State Department’s Agency for International Development (USAID) to rebuild Assyrian villages and vital infrastructures in northern Iraq. A United Nations certified NGO in the region, the Assyrian Aid Society continues to seek and develop such opportunities. AASA also seeks appropriate grants in the private sector.

Unlike some well-publicized national and international charities that pay professional fundraising companies up to 66 cents of every dollar raised, AASA handles all fundraising in-house.
