• Preparations for implementing relief programs for families seeking shelter and security

• Support of approximately 30 internally displaced families were staying in student dormitories in Dohuk to include 3 meals on a daily basis.

• Supported internally displaced families to return to their cities and towns of origin by preparing for and covering the costs of transportation.

• As Mosul & surrounding towns were liberated, our relief team responded immediately to provide humanitarian relief including distribution of food and essentials. Also, we provided drinking water and sterilization tools for Alqosh, Tel Keppe, Bakhdida, Baashiqa, Bahzan, Sharafiya, Tel Esqopa, Karimlish and other villages.

• Due to the lack of communication tools in Baghdad, people were unable to reach their family and relatives outside the country. We acquired a (thoraya) mobile phone to be used by the people to ensure they were able to communicate with relatives.
o Provided free service for an average of 200 people per day
o The same service was also provided to people in other towns and villages

• Medical aid and services (including the distribution of food and other essentials) for displaced families who sought shelter in villages after fleeing their homes Baghdad and other cities under the control of Saddam Hussein.

• Immediate response for medical aid and services provided as Mosul & surrounding towns were liberated.

• As soon as we reached Baghdad, we established a charity clinic centre which offered different types of medical services to assist needy families by providing living essentials.
